It is with deep sadness that SEU learns of the passing of one of our members, Griquas Women’s Youth Training Centre (YTC) Coach, Ronald Maarman.

Ronald was a dedicated and passionate employee and member and had worked for many years within the Griquas rugby structures. As a YTC coach he had a significant impact within the Women’s Rugby of Griquas.

We extend our deepest condolences to Ronal’s family, friends and all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.

The Griquas and SA Rugby community will be poorer without him.

May he rest in peace.
